What is CDAP?

The Canada Digital Adoption Program (CDAP) has been established to help small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) realize their full potential by adopting digital technologies. Announced in Budget 2021, the $4 billion program is an investment of $1.4 billion in grants and advisory services to SMEs from the Government of Canada and up to $2.6 billion in loans from the Business Development Bank of Canada to help businesses cover the costs of implementing new digital technologies.
CDAP grants are available to eligible, small-to-medium sized, Canadian businesses. Eligible businesses must work with a Digital Advisor to make a digital adoption plan which would be submitted to the CDAP program for approval. Once the plan is approved, businesses can take advantage of a loan from BDC bank of up to $100,000 at 0% interest for 6 years..

Applications for the Boost Your Business Technology grant are currently closed.

Due to a high volume of interest, the Canada Digital Adoption Program (CDAP) Boost Your Business Technology grant is fully subscribed and is no longer accepting new applications. If you have a valid CDAP grant agreement, you can continue to work with us and submit your claim for reimbursement once your Digital Plan is complete. Be sure to check when your agreement expires and submit your claim before that date to remain eligible for the grant.

Key Information

Loan amount:

$50,000 for business with revenues between $500,000 and $5M.

$100,000 for business with revenues of $5M and more.

Terms and Conditions:

0% interest, no fees, no guarantees

5-year term + 12 months capital postponement (total of 6 years)

Your business must CDAP’s eligibility criteria and Digitize Media’s credit worthiness requirements to be eligible to receive a loan offer.

You have six (6) months following the approval of your grant payment to submit your Digitize loan application.
